Im 5'6" 270lbs and these side steps dont flex more than a 1/16th of an inch on the step portion. The frame itself is solid. The welds look like they're great. When the door shuts you can here a very distinct metal ting! Sound from the door through the side steps. My buddies tell me it needs rubber on the mounts and thats a missed point. But i call it a feature!I spent two 8 hour days installing these. But i dont have A two post lift and my passenger side frame did not match the mount bracket holes the way that my driver side did, which meant i had to grind out the frame to put these brackets in. These brackets are very similiar to oem brackets that my truck had from a previous owner. So its not the fault of this product!The only downside is the instructions are confusing and the hardware boxes had hardware mixed up for the wrong side. Other than that these side steps are phenominal! Great value for money. Great fit!
