I knew it was too small about the time I got my right arm halfway into the sleeve.I was wearing a ordinary long-sleeved tee shirt. I'm an older guy and not particularly muscular. I wear waist 33 jeans and my chest measures 40 inches, maybe a tad less (I re-measured a few minutes ago.) I expected to wear the jacket over a hooded sweatshirt in the winter. According to the size chart shown with the jacket on Amazon size Medium should have been good. But it isn’t. I have two other—heavy, old—leather jackets, a Cherokee size Medium and a Hill & Archer size 42. Both have plenty of room for my hoodies. I think all three pockets on this jacket are too small; I can get my Galaxy S7 into each one but barely. People with larger phones will have problems. There is no inside pocket. For me the one thing that is too big is the sleeve length, by at least a centimeter.There is a lot to like about the jacket. The leather feels good. The color is good, a rich dark red, not too outrageous for an older guy. The lining and zippers seem good. I like that the main zipper overlaps about 4 centimeters of leather. Oddly, there is no brand name on the jacket. I will return this jacket but I may buy the same style in size large. I worry about sleeve length, though.
